From the annual Punkin' Days Festival to the Old Settlers Celebration,
there is always fun going on in Floydada.


Hotels and Motels - Total of 65 rooms for overnight guests in town
with other facilities such as a local Recreational Vehicle Park.

Meeting Facilities
 - Floyd County Friends Center - 30,000 sq. ft. multipurpose facility
   with kitchen and stage.
 - Massive Activity Center - 5,000 sq. ft. with kitchen and stage.
 - Plains Baptist Assembly - capable of hosting largescale events
   with need for multiple meeting facilities including retreats and/ or
   overnight guests.
 - Floydada Country Club - Nine-hole golf course in the beautiful
   Blanco Canyon, swimming pool, and meetinig room capable of hosting
   small-scale events. Several businesses, banks, and the library have
   community rooms.

 Events
 - Annual Old Settlers Celebration - A festival honoring the past and
   the men and women who settled Floydada for their bravery to tame
   the Western Frontier of Texas. Held every Memorial Day Weekend.
 - Punkin' Days (second weekend in Oct.) - Celbrate the Pumpkin
   Harvest with activities and events in the town square.
